• Performance and control: Classic UP has a traditional 0.12 L lead-free brass boiler with Quick Heat Up technology, which ensures fast heating and quick achievement of target temperature, keeping it stable from the first coffee thanks to the PID system. In fact, temperature is constant thanks to two PIDs: one dedicated to coffee (adjustable directly from the display), and the other one for steam.
• A premium experience: Classic UP is equipped with a professional stainless steel portafilter and an ergonomic handle, along with three traditional filters: one single (holding up to 11 g of ground coffee), one double (up to 18 g) and a blind filter for backflushing. Each box also includes an exclusive stainless steel tamper with the Gaggia logo on it, and an interchangeable black plastic handle, as well as two interchangeable drip trays.
• Intuitive interface for professional results: Three backlit toggle switches control the main functions in an intuitive and immediate way. The TFT display, combined with four capacitive buttons, provides access to the settings menu to configure preinfusion, the time-based preset dose, temperature in degrees (°C or °F), scheduled switch-on, automatic stand-by and the button sound.
